Dr. Melitta Urbancic came to Iceland along with her husband Victor Urbancic fleeing Nazi Germany. She was a poet, actress and bee farmer among many things. Leaving her homeland and settling in another remote country was a difficult experience she put to words over the years but kept the manuscript for herself.
