Þórarinn Leifsson's Out Killing Tourists (it's fiction of course) is a chillingly icecold murder mystery based on the experience of mass tourism in Iceland. Main character, tourist guide, Kalmann is tired, exhausted and when a tourist in his group is found murdered, he has a hard time dealing with it. Þórarinn, the author, has himself a master's degree tourist guiding after having worked as one for many years.
